Story
Edmonton Eagles Boxing Club, founded in 2004 by Penny Efstathiou, was created to help divert youth from gangs and negative lifestyles following tragic gang-related deaths. Initially open two evenings a week, the club now operates six days a week, offering diverse sessions for all abilities and backgrounds.
Located in one of the UK's most deprived areas, the club serves over 200 people weekly, fostering a supportive environment for young people to build skills and confidence. With nine coaches and dedicated volunteers, Edmonton Eagles has transformed many lives, providing a positive alternative to gang involvement in a community facing serious youth violence.
