Can you give someone hope this Christmas?

Foodbank+ is the Edinburgh City Mission network of Foodbanks. We are Edinburgh’s largest independent foodbank network and have been operating for 18 years. We partner with local churches, supporting them to run 7 Foodbank+ venues across the city, who together gave out over 13,000 food parcels to men, women and children in need so far this year.

Hollie, who has recently joined our Foodbank+ Team, has shared what a day looks like working at one of our foodbanks.

"We see people from many walks of life come through our doors: refugees, people with low-paid jobs whose bills are astronomical, those struggling with homelessness, single parents and people with chronic illness to name a few. When someone arrives at a Foodbank+ I give them a warm welcome, offering a hot drink and a chat."
