The mission of the Economics Program at Cal Poly Humboldt is to advance the understanding of economic processes and their relationship to sustainability and socio-political institutions. Our program teaches analytical skills and problem-solving techniques that are extremely valuable in just about every workplace.

The Bob R. Kittleson Economics Scholarship is in honor of the late Professor Kittleson and is awarded to a student in the Economics department who has demonstrated outstanding ability, especially in the study and understanding of the local economy and the problems of local economic growth.

Funding this scholarship will help promote the success of undergraduate Economics students.
