About our work:

In the last 12 months R Charity have purchased over £230,000 worth of equipment, and we couldn't have done this without the support of local people, companies and organisations like you. Thank you to each and every single person who has contributed in any way.

We have raised money to purchase an ultrasound machine for our breast patients, a FEES machine to help our speech and language therapists determine how well patients can swallow following their stroke in a safe and comfortable way and a mammography positioning chair to seat breast screening patients when they are unable to stand for their mammography.

We have supported our physiotherapy department by purchasing new gym equipment to support patients with rehabilitation, helped to fund and create a shared dialysis room for our dialysis patients, and committed £100,000 to purchase a TRUB machine for our Urology department to help detect and diagnose prostate cancer, saving 1000s of lives.
