Dylan LaMere, Mechanical Engineering major at UW Platteville, was someone who enjoyed life. Dylan, better known as "Pickle", passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 while driving his motorcycle back to campus. He was a 2017 graduate of Waunakee High School, and was to graduate from UW Platteville in May 2021. He had a positive impact on all. His bright smile and distinctive laugh were contagious. Dylan's genuinely kind, helpful, and positive soul exemplified who he was as a person. Even though Dylan was a young man of very few words, his actions spoke very loudly. The UW-Platteville community is deeply saddened by the loss of Dylan, and this scholarship is a way to carry on Dylan's legacy as a Pioneer forever. Dylan's mother Brenda and his siblings have generously given $5000 to start this fund.
