DUCFS 2025 is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity providing healthcare, practical and emotional support, education, and more, in support of those living with cancer, as well as for DUCFS Launchpad, our creative outreach platform.
DUCFS 2025 will plunge the audience into a fantasy of endless possibilities - Utopia. As we explore this vibrant and surreal realm, we discover the limitless future of media, art and fashion.
This year, we are very excited to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support in the North East, helping them to support those living with cancer within our local community. There were 4000 new cancer diagnoses last year in County Durham and Darlington, and Macmillan are committed to providing support to all those affected by cancer both within our community, and throughout the UK.
We will be supporting a brand new project from Macmillan in the North East, with the aim of funding two new roles, a psychologist and assistant psychologist. They will be based in County Durham and Darlington, providing psychological support to those within our community living with cancer, a role which until now has been unfulfilled.
We will also be supporting DUCFS Launchpad, our creative outreach platform. Through a series of projects focused on local community, arts, and music, Launchpad aims to ignite change in the North East.
100% of profits from all fundraising activity will go directly to Macmillan and DUCFS Launchpad. Of the total amount raised, 8% will go to Launchpad, with the remaining 92% of funds going directly to Macmillan to fund their project in the North East.
