Story
Thank you for supporting Dogs Trust at the World Big Dog Walk Challenge! This exciting event aims to get the world and its dogs walking throughout September to reach at least 40,075km, that's the circumference of the Earth!
If you have signed up to take part in the event, you can click on the Start Fundraising button on this page to set up your own JustGiving page and raise funds for the Dogs Trust. If fundraising is not for you, you can make a donation directly to this page by clicking on the Donate button.
This page will also give you an up-to-date total of how much that has been raised collectively. We are hoping to smash our target and raise as much as we can for the dogs in our care!
We really appreciate your kind support of Dogs Trust at the difficult time. Currently we have around 1,400 dogs throughout our 21 UK based rehoming centres. We are very blessed to have such a dedicated team of Canine Carers who will always go above and beyond for all our canine residents. Although our rehoming centres are closed to the public, we are continuing to rehome dogs in way that abides by government social distancing rules. This includes virtual matching, meeting new owners at a distance and bringing the dogs personally to new homes.
Like many of us we are embracing new ways of working, it is being innovative that is helping us continue to find our dogs their forever homes during lockdown. You can read more about the new ways we are working here .
Wed like to join our Canine Carers in this video to Thank you for everything you are doing to help Dogs Trust at this time.
Thank you again for supporting Dogs Trust.
Kind regards
Tristan, Beth, Russell and Holly
