Story

Dr Kershaw's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes place on Sunday 8th July.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks walk is a challenging, full day hill/mountain walk in the Yorkshire Dales. This is a guided walk and no experience is necessary. Have you signed up to take part - if not visit www.drkh.org.uk/y3p23

It would mean a great deal to us here at the Hospice to have your support and to have you taking part in this exciting outdoor challenge in the name of Dr Kershaw's Hospice - and you will also be helping to provide our patients and families with comfort, care, kindness and dignity at a time when they are most vulnerable.

Once you have opened your Just Giving page we will get in touch to see how we can help. Click on the orange box at the top of the page to Start Fundraising and either create an account or log in.

This is a circular walk, starting and finishing at Horton in Ribblesdale, and the total walking distance is approximately 24 miles (39km). The challenge is to complete the walk within 12 hours. Starting in Horton-in-Ribblesdale you will climb to the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (2,227ft, 694m), Whernside (2,415ft, 736m) and Ingleborough (2,372ft, 723m).
