Go to School wearing Red, White & Blue to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE Day) and raise money to support veterans in need.
Wearing Red, White, and Blue: Students and staff can show their patriotic spirit by dressing in the colors of the Union Jack.
Donating £1: A small contribution from each participant will help raise funds for the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), supporting veterans, their families, and those in need within our community.
RBLI is an organisation dedicated to supporting veterans and people with disabilities by providing emergency accommodation to the homeless, homes for veterans, employment and mental health support. By participating your school can contribute to this noble cause while engaging your students in a fun activity and giving them a valuable opportunity to unstill values of empathy, community support and solidarity.
We are enthusiastic about the prospect of your school joining hands with RBLI for this event and making a positive difference in the lives of those in need. Your support and participation will truly have a meaningful impact.
To recognize your school’s valuable support and participation, each school that takes part will receive a special certificate of appreciation as a token of our gratitude and to commemorate your involvement in this meaningful event.
This is also a fantastic opportunity to engage students in learning about the significance of VE Day.
