Story
On Friday 1 December, we're holding an island-wide dress-down day to raise funds for Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man, and we're inviting you to join us and Dress Bright for Cruse!
We exist to promote the well-being of bereaved people, and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. Founded in 1988, we offer free and confidential bereavement support to anyone in our community who needs us.
Our services are offered to children, young people, and adults on a one-to-one basis by trained Cruse volunteers and staff.
As well as our specialised one-to-one support for children and young people, our unique CruzKids project provides social opportunities for bereaved children and young people to meet with others who have also experienced a significant death.
We also offer training and bereavement awareness support sessions to organisations, schools, and youth groups.
Go Bright for Cruse is taking place on Friday 1 December. If this date isn't suitable for you or your organisation, you can hold it on another day. It's the taking part that counts.
If you'd like to join in, we only ask that you have fun and that everyone makes a small donation towards Cruse. If you share any photos on your social media pages, please tag us so we can see them and share them. Or you can send us your photos and we'll put them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
So, who's joining us?
