Story

Dream Renewables is a project of the Dream Big Ghana Foundation. We design and deliver educational programmes inspiring young Ghanaians about renewable energy through practical, hands-on learning.

We also undertake renewable energy projects benefiting critical community infrastructure in impoverished communities. These include a solar powered IT lab for a rural off grid school, solar powered irrigation systems for small holding farmers and a solar powered refrigeration and lighting for an rural health clinic.

Without additional funding, we cannot afford to pay for the staff we need, and without a strong team, we cannot do the work we do.

We also want to offer opportunities to young, passionate, skilled people in Ghana who make up a new generation of environmental leaders.

This is why we are raising funds for Promise and Jenifer, two new staff members, who trained on our programmes in 2022 and 2023.

About the charity

We deliver sustainable change in rural Ghana. We support community programmes in sanitation, health, education, sports, reforestation, wetlands protection, music and renewable energy. We partner with Dream Big Ghana NGO, Denyigba Lorlor NGO, Dream Renewables NGO and Wornane Music.
