Bury Hospice's 1st Dragon Boat Race fundraiser at Elton Reservoir, Bury Saturday 11th May 2024. 10 teams took part, fab supporters of our cause. Essity had three sites compete, their offline donation of £3,000, takes grand total to £13,869.

Story

Bury Hospice is organising its Dragon Boat race for Saturday 11th May.

Our intrepid teams of Dragon Boat rowers will race against each other on Elton Reservoir in Bury with the aim to raise much needed funds for Bury Hospice.

Pleas show your support for our fabulous Dragon Boat teams as every donation counts as follows:

£10 - COULD PAY FOR A PATIENTS EVENING MEAL

£25 - COULD PAY FOR AN BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SESSION

£50 - COULD PAY FOR A HOME VISIT BY OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM

£75 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR HALF A DAY

£150 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR A DAY

Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.5million and we raise 87% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.
