Story
Doris, one of our residents will be turning 101 next month! Doris tells us how much she loves it at Marden court and wants to do something inspiring and something for the home to show her appreciation.
Doris has taken it upon herself to do a sponsored walk the car park (100 laps!) to raise money for the residents amenities fund. Doris is an outgoing lady, who is enjoying her life, despite not being able to see that well, and no longer is able to use her sight to read, she finds happiness in her alexa and spending time with everyone in the home! A day don’t go by without someone visiting Doris, she is a very well-loved person. Doris loves to go out in the community, including going to church, visiting friends, going for a coffee, shopping and dining out. Doris is an inspiration to all.
On one of her trips out she recently met PC J Bourke who also enjoyed speaking to Doris. He too found Doris a great inspiration and also is trying to raise funds on the Calne police website!
Please sponsor Doris and support her in achieving her amazing challenge.
