Story
Domestic abuse survivors became a registered charity in June 2019, but has been active since 2018. We have helped so many families to start again after fleeing abuse, and we rely solely on donations. The local communities have been amazing in donating household goods and we've seen some great homes come together with the items gifted. We are not limited to those fleeing abuse we have also helped Care leavers, because everyone has a story. Many young people in care have lived through abuse and we truly believe given a supportive start things can turn out good for those who need this help. A little run around van would make it so much easier to provide white goods and household items as we could just collect them and drop them personally, then safeguarding measures stay in place. Since starting the charity 'Domestic Abuse Survivors 1183864' We have made some lovely cliental and we have really made a difference, We also are part of Monthly coffee mornings in Hillingdon and Domestic Abuse survivors will be hosting there own in Iver, Bucks starting March 2020. The service is becoming popular and is changing lives, which is just amazing. We work alongside all abuse cases advising or advocating Including but not limited too Emotional abuse, Physical Abuse, Sexual assault. We would love nothing more than to reach as many people as possible and help them too see people do care but we need support to do this. We have already been donated £100 to start the campaign off and although its a big amount we hope we can achieve this figure by the end of 2020 through Grants, fundraising events and this page. A little run around van would really help us to expand the service offered and grow as a dedicated charity helping those that need it most.
