DogsnHomes Rescue has already delivered over 250,000 Kg of pet food and medical aid for companion animals since the war began. We have launched this Pet Food Appeal to raise funds for more large food and aid deliveries from the UK.
The situation for the terrified and helpless DOGS and CATS in Ukraine is not improving and these aid shipments are vital. The shelters are desperately short of pet food and aid, often now without power too. It's hard to even imagine how horrendous the conditions are for the animals and those brave people who have stayed to look after them.
We work with an amazing network of charity partners across Ukraine to deliver aid where its needed most. All donations are tracked with photos. Our aid helps abandoned pets, street cats and dogs, military working dogs and terrified animals being evacuated from front line villages and towns after people have left. The brave volunteers evacuating animals often have to contend with being shelled overhead.
