By supporting this fundraising challenge you’ll be making a difference in your community. Your donation could support our community, hubs, which offer vital supplies for someone sleeping rough: a sleeping bag, hot food, toiletries.
Although a SleepOut cannot replicate what people sleeping rough face every day, by holding your own sponsored SleepOut you will help raise awareness of homelessness, gain a small insight into the harsh realities of rough sleeping, and give hope to hundreds of people facing homelessness across West Sussex right now.
Did you know that for every person you see rough sleeping, there are at least another 20 hidden homeless? And those numbers are on the rise.
- £30 could provide ten people sleeping rough with a hot meal at one of our community hubs, likely their only meal of the day.
Four years living in a shed’s been hard, physically and mentally. Simple tasks are very difficult. I spend weekends chopping wood, washing clothes and making sure my bike is in good repair for work. I want somewhere warm to live, with houseplants. To clean my clothes with ease and have an oven to cook proper meals. Small things that people take for granted. Turning Tides have given me hope, more than I had. - Guy
