Story
The DEF channels funds to the most innovative and impactful nature-based solutions in Devon - addressing BOTH the climate and nature crises and provide much-needed positivity, joy and hope in these challenging times.
Since our launch in summer 2020, we’ve supported 56 brilliant grassroots projects, awarding more than £740,000 grants.
Our priority is to increase the amount of funding available for local nature restoration in the UK by showcasing project successes and inspiring more people and organisations to get involved.

Our priority is to increase the amount of funding available for the amazing people on the ground doing some of the most important work of our time. We'd love your support in raising funds!
"Without DEF's support, encouragement, guidance, and funding we would never have been able to dream big and develop a future beacon training centre. Their funding enabled us to help grow the future of regenerative farming, forestry, and food production in Devon and beyond." - Rachel Phillips, The Apricot Centre (a grantee)
"DEF' is doing an incredible job of discovering pioneering nature regeneration projects. It's a brilliant way to expand our mission of reconnecting people to nature and their natural human potential, and to kickstart a halo of positive change for a regenerative future." - Galahad Clark, Vivobarefoot (a business donor)
