Story

Right now, one in four patients in Sheffields hospitals is living with dementia. That numbers growing all the time.

When you are living with dementia, an unfamiliar place like a hospital can be frightening and stressful.

Thats why were taking action, to make the experience of going into hospitals so much better for them, so they feel calmer and more settled.

But we need your help. Please join our appeal, and play your part in making sure your local hospitals are designed around the specific needs of patients with dementia.

About the charity

We help Sheffield’s hospitals, community teams and health and social care services to cover costs their NHS budgets can’t. We fund support for patients and staff, life-changing research and more, so that we can enhance care from birth to the end of life and everything in between.
