We currently have 20 defibs across Braintree & Bocking - with more to come!

In 2023 these were deployed 77 times by the East of England Ambulance Service.

Each time a unit is used it requires new pads, both the pads and the batteries have a shelf life of four years - the battery life also shortens when the defib is used. For this reason we have a rolling funding project to purchase consumables as and when needed.

The "Defibruary" campaign is to gain specific funding for these items.
