Story
Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity are excited to host our first ever Pyjama Day to help raise funds for the Bassetlaw Emergency Village Appeal.
The Bassetlaw Hospital Emergency Village Appeal has an ambitious target of raising an incredible £100,000 which will focus on funding a number of projects which revolve around the theme of ‘comfort’ and ‘play’, supporting the trust to enhance patient experience by transforming the environment, funding new equipment above and beyond what is expected and providing the most comfortable experience possible for our patients.
Pyjamas are a staple piece of clothing for people spending time in hospitals and their familiar pyjamas can be a great source of comfort. Pyjamas are there for us when we need them most, whether we’re unwell or just requiring a lazy day and we need you to be there for us to help us raise the £100,000 target so we can fund the amazing projects included within the appeal.
Whether you are a school, company, community group or individual, we need you to pull out the comfiest (funkiest) pyjamas you own and bring your friends, students, colleagues and everyone you know together.
You can join us for our main Pyjama Day on Friday 19th July or host your PJ Day on any date that suits you.
The funds you raise on the day will help us fund wonderful projects for the Children’s Assessment Unit, Emergency Department and Assessment Treatment Centre at Bassetlaw Hospital, including a brand new outdoor play area.
