2020 was one of the hardest years the NHS has ever faced and at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals we wanted to do something to give back to our staff, thank the community that surrounds us for their support and remember the loved ones we have sadly lost. We introduced our first Christmas Campaign, DBTH Christmas Stars which had an incredible response and helped us raise over £40,000.

With the support of over 60 local businesses, schools and individuals we lit our hospitals up with stars each which had special messages to thank and motivate our staff and remember those we have lost. The stars shined proudly every night of December and many staff commented how it made coming to work that little bit easier.

Following on from the success of our first Christmas Campaign, we are delighted to be bringing back DBTH Christmas Stars once again and seeking sponsors for our stars.
