Dawn has had a lifelong dream to run the London marathon and earned her place after running the Manchester marathon in 3:26 and earning recognition as 'good for age'. Dawn lost out on the ballot for over a decade, but finally has her well deserved spot!

A keen musician herself, Dawn introduced music therapy on the Snowdrop ward with support from the Charitable Trust.

Staff and patients are able to join in, playing instruments, singing along, bringing fun a joy to the ward.

Any donations from this campaign will be used to continue the service through 2026 and beyond.
