Darul Taclim Cultural Centre and Mosque was formed as a result of a growing need to create a central place of worship for the Muslim community of Willesden (London, UK). Darul Taclim serves as a religious and cultural hub where Quran and Islamic classes are conducted and held for both children and adults. This is part of the Mosques core aims of providing Islamic education as well as a consistent place of worship.

The Mosque is exclusively dependent on donations and receives no grants or funding from any external institution(s). Unfortunately, we have been recently notified by the landlord that the property (the mosque) that we have been renting since 2009 is on sale for £750,000. This is devastating news, as if we do not raise this amount in due course, Darul Taclim Cultural Centre and Mosque will, unfortunately, cease to exist.
