Story
Dartmouth Community Chest volunteers work throughout the year supporting those people who do not have sufficient resources to buy food and clothing, offering advice, helping fill in forms, providing food parcels and friendship. As we continue in the Covid 19 crisis, the need for this support has escalated. As income dries up and children are at home all day support is needed with daily food needs. From their base in Townstal Community hall, volunters are cooking meals, delivering them around the area, and asembling food parcels for those in need. A typical day will see at least 150 meals and 50 food parcels going out. At the same time, the shutting of the charity's shop in Dartmouth due to the health crisis, has cut income when the costs of the support being given is hugely increased.
We need your help by giving a donation to the charity to help finance this community support.
