In 2021, the late Sir David Amess established the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial Statue Fund to create a statue honouring the Forces’ Sweetheart for future generations. Today, we stand at a crossroads where we must ensure that her legacy continues to inspire future generations—but we need your help.

We must raise £500,000 to finish the stunning memorial that has already been crafted by the renowned sculptor Paul Day as a lasting tribute to her immense contributions to the war effort and her enduring impact on British culture.

This money will ensure the project crosses the line and will remain resplendent in bronze for generations to enjoy.

Despite her monumental influence, funding for this project has not been forthcoming. This is why we turn to you to help us raise the funds to make this memorial a reality.
