Story

Diverse Abilities is the only charity supporting children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities in Dorset.

We cannot change people’s disabilities but, with your help, we can make their lives fun and fulfilled, giving them a future they truly deserve.

By taking part in our Fire Walk, your fundraising will create a huge impact for everyone we support.

How your money helps:

- £26 could fund an hour of care, help, and support, for a family right in their own home.

- £53 is enough to pay for a day's cookery session for adults with disabilities, teaching them valuable skills while having fun and making delicious food.

- £75 can pay for an afternoon respite session at Lily's Place, for children with complex needs and disabilities with dedicated 1:1 support.

- £92 can fund a day's medical supplies for Langside School, where our nursing team administers more than 60 medications each day.

Everyone who raises over £25 will receive a free t-shirt as a thank you for helping us in our mission of providing incredible care for those who need us most.
