Story
Can you join us in making Christmas that little bit more special for women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence?
This year has been difficult for us all, but it has been particularly hard for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence.
In the first lockdown, we saw a 50% increase in demand for our services. Between January and October 2020, we worked with more than 2,000 adults and children, providing emergency refuge accommodation, advocacy, online group work, counselling, and specialist support for children and young people.
We know how challenging the festive period can be for women and children who are rebuilding their lives. Can you help us make sure those we work with have the best Christmas possible?
With amazing family, friends, and my Cyfannol Women's Aid support worker, I got to a place that I wanted to be: self-sufficient, content, safe, and actually happy. What I'm trying to say is, I found the strength, but I didn't do it on my own.
By donating or fundraising for Cyfannol Women's Aid this Christmas, you will be joining our community, working with us to support families as they rebuild their lives after abuse.
Together we are stronger.
From everyone at Cyfannol Women's Aid, our very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
