Story

The last month...

We have been inundated with stray, abandoned and dumped cats and kittens and only thanks to your kindness and generosity have we been able to carry on our vital work. Each cat and kitten needs a full health check, flea/worm treatment, microchipping, vaccinating and neutering as standard but the past month has seen us stretched beyond belief with so many sick cats and kittens needing us.

DOLLY

Dolly has touched us all. She came in at 400g, when she should have weighed 2kg. She was neglected - starved, emaciated and full of fleas and worms but with 24/7 care she astounded us all with her fight and will to live. So we have all been heartbroken to discover that she has tested positive for Calicivirus, Mycoplasma and Chlamydia - tests that we were only able to do because of your support.

GOOSE & MAVERICK

Goose and Maverick came to us having literally fallen out of the sky in a kitchen. They were hours old and despite extensive searches no mum was found, so they came into us to be hand-reared

SHAGGY, SCOOBY, FRED, VELMA, WILMA & SCRAPPY

This little family came into us at two weeks old, after their mum abandoned them and wasn't seen for three days. The poor babies had horrific worms and were underweight, but are now thriving

POLLY

Polly is just one of 30 cats and kittens rescued from a single house, a situation that has been the biggest drain on our funds to date. Every single cat and kitten was sick and poor Polly had to have her eye removed. We are such a small charity and were really not ready for such an intake but thanks to you, our community and other small rescues stepping in, we have been able to treat them all.
