Story

With your help we hope to install a public access defibrillator outside the hall which will be available 24/7 for anyone in the local community to use in an emergency. This will add to the network of 37 public access defibrillators managed by Mull and Iona Community Trust (MICT) and volunteers around Mull, Iona, Erraid and Gometra. MICT is registered as a Scottish charity.

We will ensure that the defibrillator is always emergency ready and registered with the website used by the Scottish Ambulance Service call handlers to direct callers to their nearest defibrillator in an emergency.

We hope the defibrillator will never be used, but one day it could help save someone's life.

The defibrillator will be stored in a weatherproof and heated cabinet to ensure that the battery is protected from temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius.

Any money raised above the target amount will be reserved to pay for replacement pads and batteries across the network
