Our beautiful son is unable to walk, talk, or swallow, but is determined to live his best life and, with your help, Cuthbert Can.

Cuthbert was born in 2015 with a neurological condition which remains undiagnosed to this day. This has meant he is unable to stand, walk, or talk, in addition to not being able to swallow or maintain a safe airway. In addition to the difficulties he faces in living has daily life, he is vulnerable to chest infections leading to long admissions to intensive care.

However, he is super strong and fiercely determined to be as independent as he can possibly be. Sadly, the NHS is unable to provide all the help and support that Cuthbert needs to maximise his potential and get the most out of life. Therapies such as regular physiotherapy and hippotherapy (physio on horseback) have provided great benefit to Cuthbert but are not funded.

Just4Children are helping Cuthbert to continue accessing these and other beneficial therapies and equipment which enable and empower him to live his best life.
