Join our Cub Club Challenge and help raise funds for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity’s Big Space Cancer Appeal! This exciting competition is your chance to make a real difference while having loads of fun - and the best part? The person or household team who raises the most money will win their very own blank little lion sculpture to design or decorate, which will feature on the Lions at Large Trail!
It’s simple! If you’re under 16, you can enter as an individual or as part of a household team. Just click the ‘Start Fundraising’ button to create your fundraising profile and get started! You have until 31st March to raise as much as you can. All funds raised will go directly to supporting a brand-new cancer care centre.
The top fundraiser will receive a blank little lion sculpture, ready to be transformed with your creativity! You have two options:
1) decorate the lion yourself and showcase your artistic flair, or
2) collaborate with a Lions at Large artist who will bring your design to life.
Once completed, your lion will proudly join the Lions at Large Trail, becoming part of this exciting community event.
You can fundraise in any way you like, whether that’s through a sponsored activity, safari scavenger hunt, the great lion bake-off, or even a virtual event - the possibilities are endless! Get creative, spread the word, and roar for a great cause.

• The competition is open to individuals aged under 16 years at the time of entry.
• Participants may enter as an individual or as a household team. Entries involving friends or groups outside of the household are not permitted.
• All participants must be fundraising for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity.
• You must live within Gloucestershire to be able to enter.
• The fundraising period will run from 25th October to 31st March.
• All funds must be raised and submitted by the end of this period to be counted towards the competition.
• To enter, participants must join our JustGiving campaign page and set up a fundraising profile.
• All donations must be collected via JustGiving to ensure transparency and accurate tracking of funds raised.
• Participants can raise funds in any way they choose, as long as it is legal and aligns with the values of Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity.
• There are no restrictions on the types of activities participants can undertake to raise funds (e.g, sponsored activities, bake sales, etc.).
• Top Fundraiser: The individual or household team that raises the most money will receive a blank lion sculpture.

2. Collaborate with a Lions at Large artist - Work with a professional artist who will help bring your design ideas to life.
• Lion on Display: Once completed, your decorated lion will proudly join the Lions at Large Trail, becoming a standout piece in this exciting community event.
• The winning design must be appropriate for all audiences and must not include any inappropriate imagery or offensive language.
• No logos, branding, or advertising may be featured in the lion’s design.
• The winner will be announced shortly after the fundraising period ends on 31st March. This will allow for verification of all funds raised.
• The winner will be contacted via the details provided on their JustGiving campaign page.
• The competition winner will be the person or household team that raises the most money during the fundraising period.
• The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating the rules or engaging in fraudulent fundraising activities.
• All funds raised will be used to support the work of Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity’s Big Space Cancer Appeal.
• By entering, participants agree to have their names and fundraising activities shared in any promotional materials related to the competition.
