Organised by Open PalmWe are fortunate enough to be selected by Charles Stanley employees to be the 'Charity of the Year 2021/22'! Our mission is simple: to create fairer opportunities for people to thrive, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic background.
Our mission is simple: to create fairer opportunities for people to thrive, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic background.
We aim to make education more accessible and empower people to succeed regardless of their socio-economic or ethnic background.
We do this by delivering 'WYZ', our free educational life-skills programmes to u-18s on the topics of financial literacy and employability, improving learning environments and addressing racial inequality.
Our WYZ programmes aim to tackle systemic issues and offer young people a nationally-recognised accreditation. Our employability programme also offers young people work experience opportunities.
We also support under-funded schools to help them better meet the needs of their students. In the UK, we are focused on addressing 'digital poverty', so that students have the technology to fully participate in lessons and homework irrespective of their socio-economic background.
