Visit the charity's profileFor the 4th year running we want you to join us to 'Cross the Oceans' virtually to raise money for our charity's conservation work, and we want you to JOIN US on our epic challenge.
This year we plan to travel between 2 of our affiliate projects: from the Peru Mobulid Project in South America, to the Pacific Manta Research Group, who focus on the conservation of manta rays in the Eastern Pacific including the Revillagigedo Archipelago in Mexico, where some of the friendliest oceanic manta rays in the world can be seen.
Whether it's running, cycling, kayaking or swimming - every mile you do will help us raise money to fund:
- Research in manta populations worldwide and work with governments to implement protected areas.
- Workshops with local fisheries and governments to enforce conservation measures already in place.
- Education in communities and schools about manta and devil rays.
- Promotion of manta ray protection at important national summits and conferences.
