Join our virtual challenge! Help us cover 1,600 (2,575km) miles in 30 days, in aid of 1 great cause: Saving manta rays from extinction! Together we'll cross the North Atlantic Ocean to the Azores, by running, swimming, cycling and more . . .
Our team at the Manta Trust are passionate about conserving and protecting manta & devil rays, now we need your help to turn the tide!
This year we've pledged to 'Cross the Oceans' virtually to raise money for our charity's conservation work, and we want you to JOIN US on our epic challenge.
Whether it's running, cycling or swimming - every mile you do will help us raise money to fund:
- Research in manta populations worldwide and work with governments to implement protected areas.
- Workshops with local fisheries and governments to enforce conservation measures already in place.
- Education in communities and schools about manta and devil rays.
- Promotion of manta ray protection at important national summits like COP26.
Our work in the last 10 years has helped make significant changes to legislation and protection of manta & devil rays, will join us so we can continue to do more?
Sink or swim, so the saying goes. As a charity, we would not survive without the amazing support of our followers. Your actions and generosity give us the strength we need to keep on swimming. So, to all those who are prepared to swim, cycle or run the extra mile for us in this challenge, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Manta Trust was set up in order to turn the tide for the majestic and enigmatic manta rays, who are critically endangered in many parts of the world. Through coordinating global research and conservation efforts we are successfully protecting manta rays, their relatives, and their habitats.
