Crewe Fund

Donate to a fund for small charities in Crewe. We've made grants of over £270,000 so far but there are still many charities providing a lifeline for local residents, who need support to continue their vital work.

As one of 47 community foundations across the UK, Cheshire Community Foundation raises and distributes funds to support hundreds of amazing small charities and voluntary groups across the whole of Cheshire and Warrington.

The Crewe Fund

With a proud industrial heritage centred around the rail industry and manufacturing, Crewe is the largest town in south Cheshire. On visiting one of the impressive employment areas such as Crewe Business Park, you could be forgiven for not realising how different the town is just a few miles away.

Violent crime in Crewe is more than double the national average.

With housing stock predominantly older terraces, the most deprived wards within the whole of Cheshire East are in Crewe – with 36,842 people living in these wards (census 2021).

27% of Crewe residents have no qualifications.

34% of Crewe households have no car - that's 10% higher than the national average.
