The running shoes are out for a dedicated team of our staff who will be taking on the worlds largest half marathon, the Great North Run, to raise money for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity provides bespoke emotional and practical support direct to families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When families are facing such a crisis, Rainbow Trust is there to provide the whole family with emotional and practical support 24/7 for as long as required, regardless of the diagnosis. Their work is nothing short of amazing and with your help they can continue to reach out to more families in need of their support.

£23 is enough to pay for an hours practical and emotional support to a family caring for a seriously ill child, helping them make the most of their precious time.

£161 pays for a days visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to do chores, look after other family members, relax or simply sleep.

£1,720 is the average cost of support for a family with a seriously ill child for a year.
