It is inevitable the families who were already struggling most before COVID-19 are in an even worse position now. Self-isolation, the closure of schools, loss of work will all increase financial pressures and tensions within the family home.

We need your help to prevent thousands of families struggling even more than the rest of us. We need to act now, and we need to act fast.

We are directing our focus on the most vulnerable families we support who have been financially impacted the most by the COVID-19.

Our experienced professionals are already connected to the UKs most vulnerable families. So with your support we can provide an immediate cash grant to families helping to take some of the financial pressure away from them.

This will be assist them to feed their family and pay essential bills during this highly unusual and difficult time. By enabling them to overcome some of the immediate financial pressures, people who receive grants are more able to engage with support and find a way forward. From these small beginnings we can help people to rebuild their lives even in the midst of a national crisis.

How will families access this funding?

The application process is simple, we will get the grant to them quickly and efficiently, together with any other practical support we can give taking into account their individual circumstances.

The fund will initially be open to the 60,000 families we support and we will be prioritising those most in need of help. This limits the chance of fraud as we are already working with or have worked with the family in the past. We will do everything we can to ensure that the most vulnerable families are receiving the support they so desperately need.
