Story
We are doubling our target.
Two weeks ago, together with Irish Funds, we set our target to raise 100.000 euro to help vulnerable children and families cope with the additional challenges of the Covid-19 crisis. We have been heartened by the wonderful industry wide response from individuals and corporates alike who have helped us to achieve this goal.
As the true nature of the Covid-19 crisis unfolds, we can see that the need for support amongst the most vulnerable in society, far outstrips what we had set out to provide. With this in mind, encouraged by what we have collectively achieved so far, we are raising the goal to 200,000 euro .
We are unsure how long this crisis will last, but we are sure that we can do more to help. Speed is of the essence. We can only deliver the necessary support once the money comes in.
This fund will be ring-fenced to offer practical and emotional support to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and families in our society.

Thanks to our existing relationships within the community, we can ensure that this happens immediately. Weve already partnered with Belvedere Youth Club delivering hot meals, the Peter McVerry Trust supplying age appropriate activity packs and the Early Learning Initiative providing clean and safe play mats and daily telephone support. We are continuing to seek out other partners throughout the country.
