Statement from Helen Rollason Cancer Charity CEO Kate Alden

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters during these difficult times; we are having to adjust again to doing things differently and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Since reopening our Support Centres we have had lots of positive feedback from clients...

A lot of thought had been put into access into the building and I felt totally secure and safe. Such a special place and lovely to see it open. Thank you everyone for making it happen.

I didnt realise how much I missed the reflexology until now its amazing.

So pleased you are now open I have missed you all.

Thanks for all you do it has made such a difference during this pandemic and now.

I'd also like to thank our fantastic team of Volunteers, who have stepped up to the mark to re-open our Charity Shops and Support Centres and keep them open this year.

Of course Covid-19 is at the forefront of all of our minds, but even once it has calmed down, cancer will still be there. On average 1,000 people in the UK will face a cancer diagnosis every day and 450 others will die. Please help us support them, both now during this time of unrest, and in the months and years to come.

Thank you for your continued support during 2021 which has proved a challenging year for the charity.

We hope you and your family are safe and I wish you well for 2022.
