Story
Each December, Coventry Round Table brings Santa and his festive sleigh to local neighborhoods, spreading holiday cheer and raising money for local causes. Families gather to see the decorated sleigh, with donations supporting community projects, charities, and families in need. It's a cherished tradition that brings joy and helps Coventry thrive.
All money that is raised is spent on local causes for young people within the community. Coventry Round Table has recently supported a variety of local causes. There most recent donations have included:
Supporting Coventry Children's Services by donating £1,500 for the children in care awards night, which was hosted by JD from Free Radio at the Belgrade Theatre.
We have donated a number of board games and activities to University Hospital Coventry as well as an out reach mental health facility in the local area.
In response to a plea for Hallie, a young girl with leukemia, we donated £5,000 toward her treatment and arranged a weekend trip for her family.
We supported a local wheelchair rugby player, George, by contributing £1,000 towards a bespoke sports chair to help him pursue his dream of playing for team GB.
We have donated a number of selection boxes and toys to community centers for distribution during Christmas.
We are always looking for new great causes to partner with, please feel free to reach out on the Facebook page and someone will be in touch.
