Story

Walk A Mile is Back! Join us for the 15th anniversary of Walk A Mile on Saturday, October 1st in Downtown Cobourg! By registering yourself or your team you can start fundraising right away! 100% of the funds raised directly impact the lives of local women and children impacted by family violence.

Details of the day:

Registration starts at 9:00 am with a delicious breakfast for all participants provided by the Lions Club of Cobourg. Then take part in our obstacle challenge brought to you by Cobourg Nissan! At 11:00 am, we will all take to the streets of downtown Cobourg to walk our mile together through the harvest festival. A great way to spend your morning supporting local women and children impacted by family violence!

Cornerstone works to break the cycle of family and gender-based violence by providing immediate shelter, counselling and prevention services throughout Northumberland County. Together we are a community committed to healthy, respectful relationships dedicated to creating a place where hope grows.
