Story
Conwy Food Bank has been serving the community since 2011, originally as Conwy Food Share. Its mission was to provide essential food parcels to individuals and families in Conwy County facing hunger and financial crisis. Fast forward over a decade later, and the food bank is now delivering over 100 parcels each year to those struggling with the high cost of living. Today, it is run by Sanctuary Trust, a homelessness charity committed to ending homelessness in North Wales and Greater Manchester. In addition to emergency food aid, the charity provides housing support, rough sleeper intervention, and other essential services to help those in need get back on their feet. Despite the challenges faced by the community, Conwy Food Bank and Sanctuary Trust remain steadfast in their commitment to providing support and hope to those in need.
