Story

The Care Workers’ Charity is calling on business, members of the public and celebrities to show how

they are “Connected to Care” by telling their stories of working in the sector, having a loved one who

draws on social care, volunteering, or knowledge of the sector through friends or family.

We are launching this campaign to raise awareness of The Care Workers’ Charity and those we

support. Since 2020 we have given out almost 7000 grants to care workers totalling over £4 million.

Our data shows an increase in applications as the cost-of-living crisis continues and we really need

support to continue what we do.

You can support this campaign in different ways:

Across social media we would love to see video clips and posts about how you are connected to

care.

Sample script would be: “My name is ________. I am connected to care because ____________.

Social Care is part of all of us. Please support care workers by supporting the Care Workers’ Charity”

Please tag us in posts and videos:
