Food banks see an influx of volunteers and donations during the holiday season, but support drops off significantly once June rolls around. Unfortunately, food insecurity is a year-long reality for most of the 1 million individuals served by food banks each year. Commissioners of Revenue are stepping in to fill the gap. Offices that raise the most food and funds per person for each of the seven food bank service areas will receive recognition from the President of the Commissioners of the Revenue Association.
