Each year Columbia Primary School celebrates World Book Day. World Book Day celebrates reading and emphasises the importance for every child to have access to books and to develop a love of reading for pleasure.

This year the school would like to raise funds as part of World Book Day in order to organise author visits to the school, which costs around £600 per year group.

This fundraiser runs alongside other activities organised by the school during World Book Day on March 3rd, such as dressing up as your favourite book character, among other activities.
