Story

The Colorectal Cancer Nursing Team at the Oxford University Hospitals provide incredible care and support to patients throughout their colorectal cancer journey; from diagnosis and surgery to follow up and ongoing support. They have continued to maintain their high level of care and professionalism and overcome the many hurdles that have been thrown up over the last year; now they need our help.

The nurses are often in surgical and oncology clinic setting and are in need of 4 tablets to allow them to access the hospital computer systems remotely, and provide patient care from wherever they are in the hospital. They will also be able to integrate with the Occtopus Patient Support Group and give the members further support and advice. Occtopus would like to help raise the money for these tablets to support the nurses so they can continue to provide outstanding care and hopefully make things a bit easier for them.
