Colin has been a volunteer for the Taxi Charity since 2019 and has helped the charity at events across the UK and taken veterans to the Netherlands and Normandy for acts of commemoration.
The Hadrian's Wall path in the north of England runs for 84 miles, from Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast to Wallsend on the east coast of England. Colin will be joined by his two brothers, Tony and David, and is using the walk to celebrate his 60th birthday and to raise funds for a cause that is very close to his heart.
Colin said: "2023 is the 75th anniversary of the Taxi Charity and having seen first hand the fabulous support they give to veterans, I want to raise some money for them. I know everyone is facing escalating costs during the current cost-of-living crisis but anything you can give, however small, will make a difference."
