Dear Parents, Carers, and Children,
Get ready to lace up your running shoes because we're thrilled to announce our first-ever Fun Run! On 12 May 2024, join us in Finsbury Park Athletics Track for a day filled with family fun and fitness. Organized by Coleridge Families in partnership with RunThrough UK, this event is not only a great way to stay healthy but also a fantastic opportunity for all to enjoy.
As we continue to promote the importance of outdoor exercise, we're also raising money to upgrade the East and West playgrounds at our school. But we can't do it alone. We need your help to make it happen!
That's why we're inviting you to take part in our £20.24 challenge, since it's 2024! By raising just £20.24 or more, you'll be making a significant impact. And thanks to a generous donor, the first 200 participants will have their donations matched. That means we'll receive an extra £20.24, making a total of at least £40.48! Not only will you be helping us upgrade our playgrounds, but you'll also be making your donation go further.
With over 700 runners registered to take part in the Fun Run, we're confident we can reach our fundraising target. But we need your support to make it happen.
Breaking news: WE ALREADY HAVE 160 PARTICIPANTS WITH DONATIONS MATCHED! That is extra £3,036 towards our goal, just for you taking part in our challenge! Keep them coming!
Some areas of the playgrounds have not been updated for many years, and our school budget is insufficient to purchase new equipment or surfaces. Climbing frames, artificial grass (on the East), playground markings... all are quite worn out or no longer fit for purpose.
We invite you to take part in the Fun Run or cheer from the sidelines. Let's work together to raise much-needed funds to improve the play areas for our children. Join us, and let's make this Fun Run an event to remember!
