Story

Children's Mental Health Week is back and with your help, we can make the 2024 event the biggest yet. By getting involved, you can help us get closer to a future where every child has easy access to mental health support.

One in six children and young people now have a diagnosable mental health condition. By taking part in Children’s Mental Health Week 2024, you can help us to ensure that children and young people across the UK feel listened to, and know that they’re not alone. This Children’s Mental Health Week we want all children and young people, whoever they are, and wherever they are in the world, to be able to say – and believe - “My Voice Matters”.

We want to make fundraising as simple as possible for you, so we're asking you to Express Yourself. We are all individual, have different things that make us tick, and that bring a smile to our face. Express Yourself lets children’s voice shine through and empowers children and young people to tell their own stories. Whatever it is, Express Yourself by sharing what makes you... you and make a £2 donation to Place2Be.

The #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek Resources Pack has all the info you'll need about Express Yourself and how you can get involved in the week.

Thank you so much for getting involved in this year's Children's Mental Health Week, to spread the word and bring us closer to a future where no child has to face mental health problems alone.
