Organised by Laois HospiceDue to Covid 19, our annual walk will be a virtual event this year. Unfortunately, we cannot gather as a group, therefore we are asking you to join us from your own local area and share with us, your scenery, routes, and festive cheer along the way.

Visit the charity's profileWe are a hardworking group of local volunteers, who have been coming together for the past 28 years, to host our annual walk in Clonaslee, Co. Laois, on the 26th of December. Our walk takes in the beautiful scenery that the Slieve Bloom has to offer. It is a social gathering that hundreds of people have marked in their diaries yearly. The highlight for many, is the chats, tea and Christmas cake that awaits their return to our Community Centre. But most importantly it is about raising much needed funds for our local charity, The Laois Hospice Foundation.
1. Walk, Run or Jog a distance of 5kms or 10 kms on the 26th, 27th or 28th of December. (Within current Covid 19 regulations issued by the Department of Health)
